Magritte Limited Edition Kokeshi Doll by Sketch.inc for Lucie Kaas

Lucie Kaas brings a playful twist to tradition with their charming figurines; modern reinterpretations of classic Japanese Kokeshi dolls. Designed in England by Becky Kemp of Sketch.inc, each hand-painted piece pays tribute to a cultural icon. This particular doll is inspired by the surrealist Belgian artist René Magritte, capturing his mysterious style and including, of course, his signature bowler hat and apple motif. These collectible pieces are a joyful fusion of fashion, art, and Scandinavian design.

These special dolls are numbered 1 - 1000, with a marking on the bottom "1/1000, 2/1000", making them a true collectors item. The numbering is randomly distributed in shipped orders. 

Lucie Kaas’ Kokeshi dolls are made from beech wood, meticulously hand-painted, then sealed with a satin varnish.
